Established in 2013, Northwest Arkansas Veterinary Services, LLC (NWA Vet Labs) evolved from supporting local livestock and poultry veterinarians with technical services to become a comprehensive microbiology laboratory in Springdale, Arkansas. Our expertise extends beyond state lines, serving national and international companies with specialized services that enhance animal health and food safety.

Our Services:

• Microbiological Testing: We help safeguard animal health and human well-being by evaluating samples from all production phases for veterinary pathogens and zoonotic organisms such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Campylobacter.

• Diagnostic Testing: We isolate, identify, and store animal pathogens to assist veterinarians.

• Assay Design, Development, and Testing: We can integrate your assays into our workflow or help design and develop new protocols for your testing needs.  Currently, we offer inhibition, agglutination, and compatibility testing. Need something else? Let us help you design an assay to obtain the data you need.

• Autogenous Vaccine Isolate Collection: In collaboration with supervising veterinarians, we can isolate, identify, and characterize vaccine candidates specific to a particular farm or flock. These isolates can be provided to the autogenous vaccine manufacturer of your choice.

• Field Trial Support: We provide laboratory assistance to poultry integrators and animal health companies conducting field trials of disease intervention products.

• Consultation and Training: We offer consultation services to veterinarians and technical personnel on sampling and testing strategies for optimal animal health management.
